О Malaysia International Marine Expo 2026
MIMEX runs every two years and covers ship and boat building, ship repair, shipping, maritime and offshore engineering, and ports and logistics. Its exhibitor categories include port equipment and port technology, cargo handling systems, and deck machinery and vessel equipment — the areas where Haitai Crane’s products sit. The show is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on both days.

For Haitai Crane it is also a practical chance to meet Southeast Asian customers face to face. Lifting projects in ports, shipyards, and marinas depend on details such as deck space, working radius, duty cycle, site conditions, and class requirements, and these are easier to settle across a table than through email.
What to Discuss with Haitai Crane at Booth A039
Haitai Crane sincerely invites all shipowners, shipyards, port operators, and marine engineering professionals to Booth A039 at 2026 MIMEX, November 17–18 in Hall 2, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Discuss gantry and portal cranes, marine travel lifts, straddle carriers, RTG cranes, hydraulic marine crane, and marine deck cranes.
The four equipment photos on our invitation posters show where many conversations are likely to start. Other equipment, including RTG cranes and marine deck cranes, can be discussed on request.
Gantry and Portal Cranes for Ports and Shipyards
Gantry and portal cranes serve defined working areas in ports, shipyards, and industrial yards, handling cargo, ship components, and heavy fabricated sections. The right configuration depends on rated capacity, working radius or span, rail or track arrangement, lifting height, operating speed, and site layout. Double girder gantry cranes, such as the yellow unit on our poster, are built for heavier loads and wider yards. A clear picture of the cargo profile, handling frequency, and available installation space is the best starting point — whether the project is a new facility, an expansion, or an equipment replacement.
Marine Travel Lifts and Yacht Lifts
Marine travel lifts, also called yacht lifts, launch, recover, and move yachts and workboats at marinas, boatyards, and maintenance facilities. The choice depends on hull dimensions, lifting weight, hull configuration, ground conditions, travel routes, and room to maneuver; for yards that handle boats of different sizes, flexibility and safe load distribution matter most. Haitai Crane has delivered a 15-ton marine travel lift to a customer in Australia, and our team can discuss comparable requirements with marina operators, boatyard owners, and distributors.
Straddle Carriers and RTG Cranes
For container yards, ports, and heavy-cargo logistics, Haitai Crane supplies hydraulic straddle carriers and rubber-tyred gantry (RTG) cranes. A straddle carrier lifts a load between its legs and carries it across the yard on rubber tyres, so one machine can lift, transport, and place; an RTG crane stacks and transfers loads within a defined yard block. The choice depends on load dimensions, rated capacity, stacking height, travel distance, yard layout, and operating frequency.
Haitai’s hydraulic straddle carriers have been exported in the 40-ton, 50-ton, and 60-ton classes to Mongolia, Romania, and Brazil, and its RTG references include a 90-ton double girder crane delivered to the Casablanca area of Morocco.
Морские палубные краны
Hydraulic Telescopic boom marine cranes handle cargo, equipment, and maintenance loads on workboats, barges, offshore support vessels, and other ships with enough deck clearance. Because a crane’s capacity falls as its working radius grows, the safe working load at the actual outreach matters more than the nominal tonnage.
Customized Crane Engineering and Project Support
Vessel geometry, deck strength, installation space, environmental exposure, cargo, and operating procedures all affect crane design, so Haitai Crane develops proposals around the application rather than a fixed catalog model. Depending on the project scope, discussions at the booth can cover:
- Customized design: capacity, working radius, lifting height, duty cycle, and installation conditions.
- Marine environment: corrosion protection, material selection, and configuration for the intended operating conditions.
- Certification: requirements from classification societies such as CCS, ABS, BV, and DNV, depending on the equipment type, vessel, and certification scope.
- Installation and commissioning: installation guidance, commissioning assistance, and operator training, subject to the agreed supply scope.
- After-sales support: maintenance guidance, troubleshooting coordination, and spare parts planning.

How to Prepare for a Productive Meeting?
A short meeting goes further with the right information. If you can, bring:
- Vessel, deck, or yard drawings, or a site photo.
- The required safe working load or rated capacity, and the working radius or span.
- Lifting height and load dimensions.
- Operating environment and duty — for example, shifts per day.
- Available power supply.
- Vessel flag, classification society, and certification requirements.
- Your target delivery schedule.
No drawings yet? Describe the lifting task and the site, and our engineers will tell you what further data a quotation needs.
